How do I set up Sharing and Zones?

ENASTAT is an innovative product designed to provide efficient control and management of multiple devices in various zones. To make the most of its capabilities, it's essential to understand the concept of sharing and zones. What are Zones in ENASTAT?

In ENASTAT, a "zone" refers to a grouping of one or more devices that share the same schedule and setpoint settings. By adding devices to a zone, you can effectively control them collectively, simplifying the management of multiple devices as if they were a single unit. 

Note: In order to share a device, it must be in a zone

Adding Devices to a Zone

To add a device to a zone in ENASTAT, follow these steps:

1. Using the ENA App:

   • Open the ENA app on your mobile device
   • Locate the device you want to add to a zone
   • Select the [+] button, located on the device card
   • Select the desired zone or create a new zone to add the device to

2. Using the ENASTAT Dashboard:

   • Access the ENASTAT dashboard through a web browser
   • Locate the device you want to add to a zone from the 'Card View' screen
   • Select the [+] button, located on the device card
   • Select the desired zone or create a new zone to add the device to
     
     
     

Sharing Access to Zones

Once you've added devices to a zone, you can share access to that zone with others. Sharing can be done through the ENA app or the dashboard, and you can define the level of control you want to grant to other users.

Using the ENASTAT App:

• Open the ENA app on your mobile device
  
• Locate the zone you want to share
• Select the sharing icon
• Follow the on-screen instructions to add users.

Using the ENASTAT Dashboard:

• Access the ENASTAT dashboard through a web browser
• Navigate to the 'Permission' section
  
  
• Select the [+] button to create a new sharing role
  
  
  
• Select the [+] button under 'Role Permissions' selections to create a new permissions role
• Define the level of control
• Assign email addresses to the created role with the desired permissions

Please note that when sharing access through the ENASTAT app, all controls are accessible to shared users, and there is no role selection within the app itself. It is recommended to set up roles and permissions on the dashboard for finer control over what shared users can access and modify.
